MANDARC swears he was created, not born. His earliest memories are those of the safety and solace he enjoyed in the company of his canine companion, Dexx.
Once an employee of Doctor Lenard Trelaine, he left, looking for leadership in a figure he could trust to provide protection as well as admirable strength.
He sees Cedric as a rival for the affections of his new Master, the vampire Vladislaus Straud, but is coming to see the young man as a brother and comrade-in-arms.
